great access to parks and art galleries for weekend explorers
Being just a little over 2 km away from Azalea Park and the Southern Highland Craft Guild Folk Art Center made my weekend strolls good with beautiful views and local artistry. As a single traveler, I appreciated the ample and well-lit room, but the breakfast options seemed limited as the on-site restaurant was closed .

Great spot for a swift visit
Comfortable room, cute staff, with a significant highlight being the really good breakfast that fueled my exploration of the area and the convenience of free parking for easy access to attractions.

The location was magnificent, and the good hot and free breakfast was offered. I ate in the in-house restaurant nearby. Stayed in an a double room room, it was updated with comfortable beds, a mountain view, a real fireplace.

Very impressed with standard queen room. Very impressed with a work desk, coffee/tea makers, and multi-channel television available. Perfect location in that general area, hot and generous breakfast...

Asheville is a tourist trap and that contributes to the expense of a room for a one night stay.

Basically clean and comfortable.

The hotel offers a fantastic atmosphere with well-maintained decor and friendly staff. The spacious room was equipped with a Keurig coffee maker and provided a cozy setting with ample seating options. The breakfast was particularly enjoyable, with freshly prepared dishes served hot and promptly.
Housekeeping did not replace toiletries on the last night.

we loved the dog's hiking path! Great place to stay with your dogs.
Ran out of bacon, yogurt and bread an hour before breakfast ended.

staff were helpful, friendly. Food was excellent, as was service. Room was wonderful. Their handling of pets was excellent.
access to pool was limited. It was locked until 10am in the morning. Although they are welcoming of pets, and have a wonderful area to walk dogs, $35 a night was pretty expensive...

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel was under construction but we knew this ahead of time and observed how fast the improvements were coming along. We absolutely loved the dog walking trail and so did our puppy. The location of the hotel is excellent as well; my husband and I had visited Biltmore and downtown Asheville.

The dog walking area was very nice. Room was up to expectations & clean.
There is a major renovation going on that was not disclosed at booking. Dusty air, no lobby, no pool, temporary restaurant, parking lot crowded with storage bins -basically a mess.

The decor exuded a warm mountain ambiance. The accessible features, including ramps and spacious areas, made it easy for seniors like me to navigate the hotel comfortably.
A few more seating areas would be beneficial.
